50th Congreso Internacional de Recursos Humanos – 2015

I recently represented Kudos at the 50th Congreso Internacional de Resources Humanos 2015 in Mexico City and what I found was both validating and encouraging.  With over 4000 in attendance and 100 exhibitors I was kept very busy introducing Social Recognition to forward thinking companies that took time to visit our booth.

This was also a perfect opportunity to work closely with our Kudos Authorized  Partners (KAPP), Inteval Mexico, who are introducing our system to the market within their region.  This provided time for the Inteval team to observe first hand how our approach to explaining how our system works within the framework of Social Recognition, and applies to various workplace models and scenarios.  Scalability, language concerns and ROI were hot topics with many curious attendees.

Kudos-MexicoAlthough this annual Congreso has been in existence for 50 years now, Social recognition is a very new HR tool that few were aware of.  In fact many companies attending were still only promoting Rewards catalogues or employee coupon cards delivered without a social recognition cloud based system like Kudos.  This is a great opportunity for HR technology to be introduced to not only fulfillment providers, but all the companies seeking modern measurable real time tools to engage and reinforce positive behaviors within the Mexican workplace.

Kudos has been translated into the Spanish language so I see this market as a natural fit for our expansion efforts.  The vast numbers of companies either headquartered in Mexico City and surrounding area along with the large number of mobile users, social recognition will have a solid foundation to take hold within the employee base.

I look forward to many more treks south as I assist our KAPP partners during their client consultations and work closely with the support teams in place within Mexico.  It is extremely validating to know our social recognition system is being quickly accepted and adopted into organizations ready to engage their employees in a more modern, impactful method.  Kudos to the efforts by our partners and their support teams in Mexico!
